Cosmeceuticals, which combine medicinal and cosmetic qualities, have emerged as a key factor in the pursuit of healthier, more beautiful skin. Natural substances have been critical in the creation of cosmetics, providing efficacy without the negative side effects associated with synthetic compounds. The trend towards herbal-based goods is gaining attraction, motivated by a need for purity and safety. This study focuses on the ability of certain herbal compounds, such as Aloe vera, Neem, Papaya fruit, Almond, and Tulsi, to address a variety of skincare conditions, such as antioxidants, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, wrinkles, and deep cleansing. With their distinct chemical constituents, these herbs provide treatments for pimples, acne, blemishes, pigmentation, and skin suppleness. All powder ingredients created fine powder using sieve mesh no. 44. The formulation procedure, which entailed properly mixing all of the formulation using a geometrical method with variable powder weights, was subjected to thorough testing, which included organoleptic, rheological, physicochemical, irritancy, and washability studies. All formulations such as F1, F2, F3, and F4 were created. The findings corroborate the face pack's quality, safety, and usability. Formulation F1 was chosen as the best option across all studies, demonstrating its commercialization and market availability potential. Additional research and development routes may be pursued to investigate its prolonged performance and effectiveness.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[The study was to develop transdermal gel formulations for the delivery of aspirin and paracetamol. Compared to more conventional approaches like oral, injectable, and inhaler administration, transdermal medication delivery through the skin has a number of benefits. These benefits include self-administering simplicity, non-intrusiveness, usability, cost, and the capacity to maintain sustained plasma drug concentrations over prolonged periods of time. Two polymers in creating transdermal gels Carbopol-934 and Sodium Alginate were assessed. Carbopol-934 was chosen because of its capacity to improve drug retention and limit drainage, allowing for the drug's sustained release. The gel compositions were thickened and stabilized using sodium alginate. Pre-formulation tests, rheological characteristics, spread-ability, pH levels, homogeneity, and potential for skin irritation were assessed for both Carbopol-934 and Sodium Alginate gel formulations. In order to avoid application-related skin irritation, the pH levels of the gel formulations were closely checked to make sure they stayed within the permitted range. In comparison to other Carbopol-934 and Sodium Alginate formulations tested, Carbopol-934 gel formulation F3 showed the best spread-ability (S=95.9). Due to its constant qualities, including acceptable spread-ability, pH range, and homogeneity, without producing any skin irritation, this formulation was deemed satisfactory. In conclusion, the creation of a transdermal gel formulation using Carbopol-934 as the main polymer matrix shows potential for delivering these medications through the skin. This study highlights the potential of transdermal drug delivery devices as a practical and efficient replacement for conventional methods of administering painkillers.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[Background: Pre-eclampsia is a complex condition that affects multiple systems in the body. It is characterized by the sudden development of high blood pressure and the presence of protein in the urine, or the sudden development of high blood pressure together with severe malfunction in organs, with or without protein in the urine. Pre-eclampsia usually occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy or after childbirth. The classic clinical symptoms include hypertension, proteinuria, abnormal weight increases, and oedema. Unsecured iron ions in storage or transport proteins pose a risk as they can trigger free radical reactions. The presence of oxidative stress in preeclampsia can lead to an increase in transferrin saturation and a decrease in unsaturated iron binding capacity. This, in turn, can further exacerbate oxidative stress by reducing the serum's ability to buffer against redox-active iron through antioxidants. Methodology: The study was carried out at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Biochemistry in Nandha Medical College and Hospital. The study will involve women who have been diagnosed with preeclampsia as cases, and normotensive healthy pregnant women as controls. Informed consent will be obtained from all participants. The systolic and diastolic blood pressure of all individuals will be observed. The spectrophotometer on the fully automated analyser AU680 (Beckman Coulter) will be used to measure the levels of serum iron and TIBC. Result: The average (mean) value of Iron for patients is 126.39, with a standard deviation (SD) of 39.53. In contrast, for controls, the average value is 83.86, with an SD of 25.48. The average value of TIBC for patients is 354.59, with a standard deviation of 52.58. For Controls, the Mean value is 417.0 and the Standard Deviation (SD) is 59.16. The P valve for both Iron and TIBC is less than 0.001. Conclusion: This study establishes that pregnant women with pre-eclampsia experience a notable increase in serum iron levels. Excessive iron could be considered a potential cause of oxidative stress, which may play a role in the development of preeclampsia.]]>}</description>

		<description>{<![CDATA[Background: Liver cirrhosis is an escalating health issue, and the death rate associated with this illness is fast rising among both males and females. In the initial stages, cirrhosis typically does not produce noticeable signs or symptoms. However, as liver function declines, many indications and symptoms become evident, such as fatigue, nausea, unintentional weight loss, jaundice, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe itching, and swelling in the legs and abdomen. Liver illnesses are significantly influenced by micronutrients. Magnesium is the second most prevalent ion found within cells and the fourth most prevalent positively charged ion in the body. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the connection between magnesium levels and the severity of liver cirrhosis and its consequences. The significance of trace elements, such as magnesium, in the etiology of liver cirrhosis is not yet fully known. Materials and Methods: This study was a hospital-based case-control observational study. The study was carried out in the Central Lab, Department of Biochemistry, SMS Medical College & associated Hospitals in Jaipur. This study included 92 patients diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and a sample size of 92 healthy controls. Result: The average serum magnesium levels of the patients (1.13  0.21) are lower than those of the controls (2.07  0.27). Conclusion: The study revealed a statistically significant drop in magnesium levels in liver cirrhotic patients compared to the control group. Utilizing these uncomplicated and economical biochemical parameters may serve as biomarkers for the early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and aid in the identification of people with this condition.]]>}</description>
